Objective / Info: Configure Internet Explorer 7 to show your home page when a new tab is opened.

Open Internet Explorer 7 by clicking the icon on the desktop or shortcut menu.

Click "tools" on the menu bar.

Click "Internet Options"

In the "Tabs" section, click the "Settings" button.

In the top section look for "Open homepage for new tab instead of a blank page", place a check mark next to it.

Click the "OK" button in the "Tabbed Browsing Settings" window, then click the "OK" button in the "Internet Options" window.

You should now see your home page when opening a new tab in your browser.

  Note :If you open a new tab in Internet Explorer 7 and see a page that says "You've opened a new tab" , proceed to step 8

Select the "Don't show this page again" check box, and then click the "Close" button
